Ms. Wygant was a wonderful teacher to me for four years. During our time together, she taught me the fundamentals of music theory, provided detailed feedback that strengthened my skills as a pianist, and fostered my passion for music. She taught with patience and kindness while also exhibiting her own talent and love for music. I looked forward to my lessons with her each week. Patient, nurturing and supportive!
Ms. Sue is the best music teacher I could have asked for. I started taking piano lessons with her when I was 6 and with doing weekly lessons with her one on one, it helped me excel. When I got older and started band, I decided to play the flute. Ms. Sue taught that as well. So I took flute lessons with her, in addition to the piano lessons. I excelled in flute while I was in band and was the 2nd chair flute student. Ms. Sue is so patient, nurturing, supportive and so passionate about helping others learn how to play music. I highly recommend her if you’re looking to learn how to play music……………….. Mary K.
Patient and understanding teacher!
Susan Wygant has given both my sons the love of music. Her patience, understanding and persistence makes her a great teacher. With her guidance, both boys have been able to explore music to their own level of interest and capability.
At this stage my older son is pursuing other activities, however the younger one has been a pupil of Susan’s for 8 years. He was 5 when he started, and now at the age of 12 he loves the piano and is playing more complex pieces that I would never have imagined possible.
Susan continues to teach him new concepts and techniques, and at the same time he realizes that it is only through hard work and listening to a good teacher that he will become successful at something he loves. My son is a young and talented pianist thanks to Susan, and my home is filled with Christmas songs and great classical music all year round. It is a treat to share this with family, friends and the community around us.
